Tiffany Grant King
Managing Director, TEGrant Consulting.
Each of us are born for a purpose in which our destinies can have immeasurable impacts. Tiffany Grant King does not take the life she has been blessed with for granted. Her entrepreneurial spirit and genuine compassion have afforded her opportunities and the respect of the people from the homeless person on the corner to non-profit and for-profit leaders to influencers in the community.
With over 25 years of engineering, consulting, and program management experience, Tiffany continues to challenge the status quo. Tiffany is the managing director of TEGrant Consulting, a consulting firm created to assist businesses, organizations and individuals with achieving goals, maximizing resources, developing people, improving systems, and preparing for the unexpected. TEGrant Consulting works directly with economic partnerships, business chambers, unified school districts, STEM industries, high education, and non-profit organizations addressing the needs and identifying opportunities.
The vision for TEGrant Consulting was birthed during the first 14 years of her career as she addressed challenges to optimize processes in manufacturing and product and packaging development in automotive, pharmaceutical, paper manufacturing, and consumer products/goods industries as a mechanical engineer.
Tiffany recently completed one of her most impactful roles as the Global Program Manager for Affinity Partnerships and Programs on HP’s Global Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion team. For nearly 6 years, she built new and innovative ways to broaden HP’s reach to attract, retain and promote high caliber diverse talent; built a community of Diversity Ambassadors to integrate the work into all aspects of the business; worked closely with executive leaders to evangelize and embrace the work; partnered across HR, businesses and functions to enhance recruitment strategies and the company culture; and directly addressed matters to improve the retention of diverse talent.
In every space, Tiffany encourages everyone to use their voice, leveraging every opportunity to educate and influence. Tiffany serves as the Community Connection Leader at Memorial Tabernacle Church, where her husband Ulysses Stephen King, Jr. is the Senior Pastor. Tiffany also serves on the Board of Directors of Love Never Fails, focused on eliminating domestic human trafficking, and she is the Corporate Advisory Board Chair of NAMEPA (National Association of Multicultural Engineering Program Advocates), working to achieve equity and parity in the nation’s future STEM workforce.
Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. She is originally from Sumter, South Carolina and lives in the great city of Oakland, California.
