Named to Energy & Environment’s list of People to Watch – Five Key Players in Climate and recognized by the California Legislative Analyst’s Office for significantly influencing public policy debate, Tiffany Roberts has spent almost 20 years in the public and private sectors working to shape and inform energy policy in the US and beyond. With an economics background and currently managing government affairs for a Fortune 30 energy company, she has a strong track record of navigating between technical and political environments.

In her spare time, Tiffany is passionate about giving back to her community. Early in her career, she served in the US Peace Corps in the Central Asian Republic of Turkmenistan. As a Peace Corps volunteer, she led teams in multiple outreach projects such as securing eyeglasses through her hometown Lions Club to distribute to senior citizens in her adopted village. She also coordinated with the United Nations Development Program on community initiatives. Her experience grounded her belief in the importance of energy access and the implications for families and communities when energy is not readily available. Tiffany has volunteered in sub-Saharan Africa with initiatives that support rural Ugandan community schools, collaborating with community leaders on a Days for Girls project to help provide ways to ensure young girls are able to stay in school.
