Timothy “Tim” Fahey firmly believes that strategic acts of generosity are the key to building trusted relationships.
He is the owner and founder of Dirigo Agency Inc. since 2006 – a branding, design and social media agency in Rockville, MD where he works with global and local brands. He is also an Associate Professor at Montgomery College, teaching Digital Tools for the Arts. Tim holds a B.A. degree in design from The American University, Washington, DC, Associate of Arts degree from Montgomery College, Rockville, MD, and a seasoned marketing and communications executive with over 30-years’ experience.
Tim has a life-long record of performance driven results and expertise in the go-to-market strategy and research, branding, e-commerce, social media, lead generation and advertising campaigns for Fortune 100 Telecoms (Cisco and Sprint, AOL, Hughes Network Solutions, AT&T Government Solutions, Southeastern University, The College of William and Mary, and more), business-to-business companies, higher education, and non-profit organizations. Tim is the managing director of the agency, which includes managing a team of writers, user experience professionals, photographers, videographers, designers, programmers, digital marketing campaigns and public awareness campaigns.
Tim is an avid reader of leading authors in marketing and technology and seeks better ways to deliver results and delight customers. His core competencies are in the strategy consulting, design, digital media tools, e-commerce, funnel digital marketing, advertising, social media strategies.
He was the founder of Fahey and Associates, which then merged as Fahey/Davidson an integrated marketing and advertising agency in Washington, DC. Fahey/Davidson was ranked 15th largest in 1999, according to the Washington, Business Journal Book of Lists. The Agency won numerous industry awards and honors from Addy, Covenant House Community, Service Award, Direct Marketing Association of Washington, Graphic Communications Competition, Ozzie, Print Magazine, Web Marketing Association. He also is on the Board of advisors of Love Never Fails, Career Technical Institute, member Rockville Chamber of Commerce, and former Board of Trustee for the Rockville Science Center.
